Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have benefitted greatly from the transfer portal. While Sanders has taken heavy criticism for his work on the recruiting trail, he has been able to field a top transfer portal class. However, the transfer portal can give and can take away. Safety Myles Slusher announced he intends to enter the transfer portal.

Slusher was the second-ranked recruit in the state of Arkansas. He has been very productive during his time at Colorado and with the Razorbacks. Slusher has racked up 110 tackles, 3.5 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions during his career. Player movement is at an all-time high and with the spring transfer portal on the horizon, another round of players leaving their programs is to be expected.
The Buffaloes move to the Big 12 and have sky-high expectations. Coach Prime has put those expectations on the team. He knows that last year was a struggle and made moves in the offseason to improve the team. For example, the offensive line was one of the worst in the country last year, but Sanders totally remade it via the transfer portal.
There is no shortage of talent on the Buffaloes. Deion Sanders will have to show that he can win the big games and improve the team from year to year.
