Florida State linebacker Kalen DeLoach spent five seasons with the Seminoles and developed into one of the best defensive players on the team after joining in 2019. He finished the 2023 season with 66 tackles, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. DeLoach played a pivotal role on defense in the Seminoles' 13-0 season.

On Thursday, DeLoach announced on Twitter his intentions to enter the 2024 NFL Draft ahead of the Orange Bowl on December 30. 

"Florida State University I am grateful for the transformative five years I've spent at this great university. Coming here as a young man. I am leaving with a degree. Having allowed grown both academically and athletically. The experiences I've had here will always be remembered. As I am grateful for each one of them. I will forever be a Seminole and hold the pride of being unconquered proudly. FSU will always hold a special place in my heart."

"With the foundation laid by my faith. The support of my family. and the skills honed on the field. I look forward to take on the next chapter of my journey that awaits I am excited to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. Thank you again, Florida State, the best fans, and everyone who has been a part of my journey. I am excited to continue making you proud as I pursue my dream."

DeLoach said on Thursday that he still plans to participate in the upcoming matchup against No. 6 Georgia.
